BFR-Mehrheit lehnt CSU-Antrag im Gemeinderat ab

BFR-Mehrheit lehnt CSU Antrag zur Sicherstellung der Discounteransiedlung in Meiling im Gemeinderat ab. Um die Ansiedlung des von Bürgermeister Schaber versprochenen Discounters in Meiling sicherzustellen, hatte die CSU unlängst beantragt, dass der Investor einen Vorvertrag mit dem angeblich am Standort Meiling interessierten Discounter vorlegen solle. Mit dieser Vorbedingung sollte gewährleistet werden, dass der Discounter auch tatsächlich in Meiling gebaut wird und nicht nach der Ausweisung des Baugebiets zu den geplanten etwa 25 Wohnhäusern Gewerbe entsteht, das so nicht gewollt ist und den Rotter Bürgerinnen und Bürgern für die Nahversorgung nichts bringt. Mit der „Bürger für Rott“-Mehrheit im Gemeinderat wurde dieser Antrag der CSU abgewiesen, da die Bedingung vom Investor nicht akzeptiert worden war. Vielmehr müsse man nach Ansicht der BFR-Gemeinderäte eben „ein gewisses Risiko eingehen“.
